About.
Hi, I’m Simpson — a Master of Finance(Enhanced) graduate at the University of Melbourne with a passion for making numbers meaningful. My experience spans financial analysis, modelling, and investment research, alongside data analysis and visualisation using tools like Python, R, SQL, and Tableau.
I’ve built investment strategies, analysed global markets, and even represented my university in the CFA Research Challenge, where my team earned the Best Presentation Prize. Along the way, I’ve discovered that I love not just working with data, but also communicating insights clearly and creatively to help others make smarter decisions.
Outside of crunching numbers, I enjoy finding ways to make complex ideas simple — whether through a clean financial model, a sharp visual, or just a well-told story. My goal? To keep growing as a finance professional while bringing curiosity, problem-solving, and a little fun to everything I do.
